Cold Springs offers an ideal destination for educational outings. Teachers can easily book adventures for their students, whether it’s casting lines to catch trout, feeding friendly farm animals, or enjoying the outdoors. Our pricing starts at just $5/person.
Each year, we have one pond that is designated for preschool, daycare, elementary classes etc. where you can catch pan sized fish for a set price. All group fish must be caught from a designated group pond for discount to apply. If you choose to fish in additional ponds besides the group pond, you will be charged regular price for the whole order of fish. One can of fish food included in group booking. Please verify pond before fishing.
Our booking timeframes start at 9 am and guests can stay until 12pm. There is a $10 booking fee. This covers the group area (capable of seating up t0 100 people), a large grassy area, equipment for your students and a can of fish food to get your party started fishing. (Additional feed available for purchase, if your party would like to go around and feed the bigger fish!)
Group pond may change from one visit to the next, be sure to check-in prior to fishing.
Pricing:

- $2.50 per person Maze Admission (optional)
- $5/can of goat food for group (optional)

Booking Recommendations
For groups over 30 people, we recommend booking more than one hour to fish. For groups booking 70 or more people we recommend booking the 9am timeframe for three hours.

We would recommend that you guess low, and then we can charge you for the additional fish later on. If you guess too high, it is easy to do an online refund and the additional money will go right back to the card that was charged.

We recommend that you book your field trip in the following way: Go ahead and fill out all information for your group. When it gets to payment, select pay be check. We can then invoice separately for a later payment setup with your school. We can either send an invoice that can be forwarded on to your billing department or receive a check when your school has processed payment. Check is a great way to avoid processing fees as well, if you prefer that option.

No, we do not allow parents to pay individually. This is because fish will be left unclaimed when this way is done. We ask that the person in charge collect all payment before hand so that one purchase can be made for the fish.

The group discount is offered to groups Monday through Wednesday from 9am-12pm. A group includes:
- Elementary Classes
- School/Pre-school groups
- Daycare programs
Group Requirements:
- Each person may only catch 1 fish
- All fish must be paid for on one bill.
